I’ve Moved!

Exciting Update: I’ve expanded my writing journey to Substack with two unique newsletters. ‘Succulents and Cactuses’ offers a meta-narrative on the art of anxiety and overthinking, while ‘Kiss Me, Son of Blog’ is my deep dive into every song by They Might Be Giants. Subscribe to both for an enriching blend of music appreciation, introspection, and personal storytelling.

I’m in prison but my prison has no bars.

Soft grey cushions underneath me. Pillows stacked under my wounded leg. Gentle fan. TV and games. This prison, an otherwise respite from life, is bleak.

My prison has no bars.

Unshackled but not free. Depending on others for food and drink. Unable to contribute. Unable to leave. Forced into rest and “relaxation.”

Hours

Days

weeks. . .

Everything is the same.

My prison has no bars.

My prison is time.
